World Renowned DJ/Producer Shawn Rudnick is widely regarded as one of America’s most premier house music performers. Routinely taking his Miami style Funky House sounds to major events and venues throughout the globe, this charismatic musical prodigy is on a certain track for superstardom. Growing up in Miami, Shawn has not only increased his global DJ presence but he has also continued to be a major player in the South Florida nightlife…playing an intricate role in Miami’s club scene. Rudnick currently holds residency or frequently performing at some of Miami’s hottest venues including the new multimillion dollar club Nocturnal, Oxygen Lounge as well as his legendary night at Amika Miami (where he also holds the role of entertainment director), which was recently rated as the #1 Miami Dance Club in the Miami New Times. Additional performances and residencies include: Crobar, Legendary Club Space(2 Year Residency), Nikki Beach, Level, Opium Garden, Shadow Lounge, Groove Jet and the Living Room South Beach. Although Shawn can regularly be found rocking Miami’s world renowned nightclubs with his unique grooving sound, he is also in high demand throughout North and South America and the world as well. Shawn has rocked the decks at nightclubs such as San Francisco’s legendary club Ruby Skye, and world renowned Bungalo 8 in the Hamptons to name a couple. These as well as regular tour performances throughout North and South America, Ibiza, and Europe, keep Shawn performing for Tens of Thousands each year. Shawn’s numerous performances around the globe have allowed him to work with and perform alongside many leaders in the industry. Some of these include legends such as: Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Todd Terry Tony Humphries, Sasha, Sander Klienenberg, Danny Teneglia, Steve Porter, and many many others. Working alongside such tremendous talent has allowed Shawn to gain enormous amounts of experience and expand upon his already tremendous musical talents.
Summer 2004 proved to be an extremely successful one for Rudnick… he headlined the Groove On Night at Privilege, Ibiza where he played for a crowd of over 3,000 people. As well as a earth shattering performances at the Winter Music Conference (Miami) made for a monumental year. In September he will kick off his US & Latin American “Made in Miami” Tour in Lima Peru in support of an upcoming release. Other productions by Rudnick include his collaboration with DJ superstar Tracy Young, the first one for Gloria Estefan’s “Wrapped” (Sony Music) which was simultaneously released in both languages in all major markets; and Madonna’s “Nothing Fails” (Maverick/Warner). This fall, he will release his solo debut album entitled Sound Ritual.
